Welcome to the November edition of Grand Bayon Hotel’s monthly newsletter! We have some exciting news for you this month. Siem Reap is now entering the high season and everywhere is starting to get busy! This is the favourite time of the year for many people in town for a few reasons. First, it’s the high season, so everyone is busy! Secondly, it’s much cooler this time of year and not so hot and humid, so it makes life much easier.

Holidays
We also have two holidays this month and one of the biggest parties of the year! The Water Festival is celebrated in town and you’ll get to see boat races along the river! Teams come from all over the country to enter their boats in this years’ competition. You can watch the boat racing over the three-day holiday and enjoy in the festivities.
There will also be many market stalls, special offers, live performances, fireworks and more in the area along the river and near the Royal Garden. It’s a fun time of the year and a great time to visit.

We also celebrate Independence Day on the 9th of November, but there isn’t so much happening around town on this day.
